History of Confucius
Confucius was born around 551BC in Lu Province. His parents were rich, but when the empire broke down they became poor. When Confucius was 15, he started becoming interested in learning, but only royals and nobility were allowed to go to school. It was hard for him to learn because public libraries and schools didn't exist in China. To fix this, he started working for a nobleman, by doing this he could learn&travel. He learned 'til he was the most learned man in his day (just about)! People heard about him and sent their sons to study with him. He was the first private teacher in China!
